Income Tax Income Tax We recorded an income tax (expense) benefit of approximately $2 million and $0 for the three and six months ended June 30, 2023, respectively, compared to a $5 million and $(6) million income tax (expense) benefit in the three and six months ended June 30, 2022, respectively. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2023 and 2022, our income tax (expense) benefit was determined using the federal tax rate of 21%, and combined state tax rates, net of federal benefit, of approximately 3% for 2023 and 2022.
